Ziptrak® Interior Blinds
A SLIMLINE SOLUTION FOR COMPLETE BLOCKOUT – PERFECT FOR BEDROOMS OR HOME THEATRES!
OVERVIEW
Full Blockout can be difficult to achieve with an internal solution – customers often turn to heavy block out curtains which can (particularly in small rooms) be a bit too intrusive on the space. The Ziptrak® Interior Blind is the perfect solution and has proven a great hit with many customers! Put simply, it’s a roller blind with an included pelmet and side channels!
FUNCTIONS
The Ziptrak® Interior Blind was designed by the designers of the Ziptrak® Outdoor Blind. The same concept of the channeled blind is applied, but with the slimline beauty that is needed for an internal application. The blind comes standard with Spring Operation but can be upgraded to Motorised – Somfy or Acmeda systems available.
FEATURES
3 STANDARD COLOURS
The Componentry in this blind is available in 3 standard colours – White, Black & Clear Annodised. If you need it, we can powdercoat to any Dulux Powdercoat Colour to ensure minimal interruption to the beauty of the room.
LARGE RANGE OF FABRICS
We offer a large range of Roller Blind fabrics, and the majority of these can be used for Ziptrak® Interiors. Commonly Blockout fabrics are chosen, to make the most of the Blockout features of the blind, but sometimes Sheer fabrics are requested – and this can be achieved.
INSTALL ASSISTANCE
Just like any new product on the market, there are tips and tricks to achieving a perfect install first time! If you need assistance with your first install, we can happily provide an installer to attend with yours to help!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Zipscreen blinds can be a great addition to alfresco areas, but it’s essential to ensure proper ventilation for safety. When using plumbed-in gas barbecues, Australian Standards (AS/NZS 5601.1) require sufficient airflow to prevent the buildup of harmful gases like carbon monoxide.
The standards do not explicitly address blinds or other removable coverings, so definitive advice on their impact is not provided. However, to maintain ventilation, Zipscreen Blinds should be installed or raised to ensure at least 25% of the total wall space in the outdoor area remains open.
For additional safety, we recommend installing a carbon monoxide detector. Furthermore, whenever operating a gas appliance, such as a barbecue, outdoor blinds should always be raised to ensure adequate ventilation.
Please note, while these recommendations reflect best practices, only a licensed gas fitter can provide definitive advice on compliance with building and safety regulations for your alfresco area.
